Map Lost
lyrics by Adam Web

across the world
off I go
a map less quest of searching soul
only bold strike fisting ways
will create long lasting memories
afraid but certain of a lifetime
separating white lies
I've grown to know life ties us together
and binds us along the way
I'll run my eyes blind
through the wave cascading through jungle vine days
and I don't mind
if I never know where I'm going
never slowing down today

with my map lost
I don't need anyone at all
I will find what it is I'm looking for
no one to tell me where to go
and I never want to know

if flowing is not enough
I'll go where my feelings roll
slow round the water solo
I'll throw my self in oblivion
oblivious of my train
leaving on a one way track
marked "I don't know"
I don't know where the hell I'm going
but I'm never slowing down
never not me

with my map lost
I don't need anyone at all
I will find what it is I'm looking for
no one to tell me where to go
and I never want to know

see I had asked a hundred questions
left for the west
in a planed marked "L.A. or bust"
I must confess
a bus seemed dressed up much more in trust
can you believe we were about to fuss
oh though so amused by such a muse
the one muse I lose is you
and I can't forget all the time we spent
the wheres, the whens, and the hows

and of course there is you up in the mix
a simple twist of orange
enough juice to burst me to your land
your tricks seem to work with out reason

so I said
illuminate my way
because I can't see the brighter day
displaying on your face
and I can't place the place that  you are at
but I will bet with no regret that this map will never get me there
it will never get me there

with my map lost
I don't need anyone at all
I will find what it is I'm looking for
no one to tell me where to go
and I never want to know
