| Sigh Helloooooo, Man, it's been to long since I've said some words on this circus site of mine. Circus being said because I realized that the colors and design give it a certain big top feel. But, annnnnyways, new music has been pouring out of me, so look forward to new material at upcoming shows. Themes have been a mix of sad love, hope, and this damn obsession the world has with this "us vs. them" attitude. I know it won't ever happen, but if we think hard enough...the only way to find the utopia of peace, is the ability to forgive, trust everyone, and never retaliate. NOT A POSSIBILITY! (well...maybe when we are all monks). BUT, we can strive with hope to balance the lopsided struggle of hate over peace. To sum it up, understanding...the eyes looking at both sides (or multiple sides) of a story. Search for why groups, sects, countries, religions, etc. might be upset about a given situation. See where they are coming from. Encourage them to see where you are coming from. Yup, that's right, I'm essentially quoting you the "treat others the way you would like to be treated" guideline...taught to preschoolers as the come of age in their social skills. It's an oldie but a goody, and yet...it seems we're all still 5. Hence the title "Sigh". Sigh, I suppose I need a break from being human. I'm going now, I'll see you in another life when we are both cats. Peace Always, Adam P.S. I am not perfect. I make mistakes. I'm sorry. Quote of the Post: James Redfield: "Understanding...is a matter of seeing the human world as a vast competition for energy and thus for power. Yet, once humans understand their struggle...we would immediately begin to transcend this conflict. We would begin to break free from the competition over more human energy..." |
