| What to do with new knowledge? Hello Everyone, So I've been privileged enough to have come across some brilliant minds in my time, many of which you've never heard. This of course do to our present day culture's fascination and obsessions with all that which is Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, or gods help us Kevin Federline. Listen, there are things bigger...bigger than them...bigger than us...bigger than this world, and more than likely bigger than our universe! Perhaps we are infinity (in ability, in potential, in existence, in knowing) but we don't allow ourselves to realize it. What if everything you were to taught to believe true was metaphorically put in a pitch black room? As you search, ponder, educated yourself, and had faith and trust, the room would gradually lighten to reveal a glimpse of what might be. After this you might be daring enough to break a hole in the room discover what's beyond it...once you do, let me know what you find so that I may too begin to brighten my room. Let us all be learners and teachers. This way CONSCIOUSNESS (not money, power, and title) will be at the forefront of guiding us humans to our bigger purpose and higher potential. Back to my original statement about the brilliant minds. I have been privileged, and I will not squander this by keeping their thoughts and words to myself. The two authors that I am about to mention are alive and well at this moment, but their wisdom and vision would suggest they are from a distant future where only sages and wise men roam the earth. Ahead of their time, is the common phrase. Much like Gandhi's amazing ideals and practices are to this day beyond the world's ability to understand. First, and I'm sure you've heard me mention him before, is Dan Millman, www.danmillman.com . Read anything by him and I promise if it doesn't change your life, you'll at least think twice about what you presume to be "reality". You're eyes will finally open, and you'll finally be awake. I suggest you read The Way of the Peaceful Warrior first . Next, is a guy who's book I just finished reading, his name is Walter Cruttenden, visit his website by clicking on this link... Lost Star: Of Myth and Time. Ever wonder how the Egyptians created the awe inspiring pyramids which consisted of stones weighing multiple tons. Well, so does Walter, and he gives reasons why not only the Egyptians, but cultures and civilizations across the world of this time period where more than likely far more knowledgeable then present day humans. This especially true of there understanding of the stars. You know how we base time on the earth's rotation and it's revolution around the sun ( a day, and a year respectively)? What if there was another celestial movement on a grander scale, namely a 24,000 year time frame, and the rise and fall of civilizations were based on this cycle? It could give us a picture of where we are heading. This book is not built on fiction, I promise. I must get this knowledge out to you, and too the world for that matter. I never mean to offend, if the views of these books go against what your beliefs teach, I do apologize. I only hope you continue to search and discover. Peace Always, Adam P.S. I leave you with an excerpt from Walter Cruttenden's Lost Star: Of Myth and TIme Quote of the Post: "So here we are, children of the cosmos, hurtling through space on a giant mud ball at an incalculable rate of speed...If we are being shepherded by a life giving Sun, or two, bathed by sweet influences gently awakening our consciousness as we move through space in the direction of a higher age, what could be more wonderful?" |
